Christel R. Orlych passed away at her home on Wednesday,  May 13, 2026 at the age of 90.  Christel was the beloved wife of the late Michael Orlych;  loving mother of George (Judith) Orlych, Daniel Orlych and the late Alexander Orlych;  devoted grandmother of John Orlych and Stephen (Kendall) Orlych;  cherished great-grandmother of Juniper, Bear & Daisy Orlych-Bird.

Services for Mrs. Orlych are as follows:    Visitation:  Thursday, May 21 from 4 - 8 P.M. with a Wake Service 7 P.M. at Muzyka Funeral Home   (2157 W. Chicago Ave. at N. Leavitt St. ;  Chicago, 60622).   Funeral:  Friday, May 22nd starting with Prayers at 10 A.M. at Muzyka  followed by a procession to St. Joseph Ukrainian Catholic Church  (5000 N. Cumberland Ave. ; Chicago, 60656) for a 11 A.M. Funeral Service.     Graveside interment to follow at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery; Chicago.
