Elba Antomarchi-Florez  was born on September 8, 1919  in Santo Domingo to Agustin Antomarchi Dominguez and Jacinta Castillo Rodriguez, of Corsican and Spanish descent, respectively.  She passed away at the age of 100 on August 26, 2020 .... just 13 days shy of her 101st birthday.   Elba passed  away peacefully in her sleep, of natural causes, at her West Town - Ukrainian Village residence surrounded by family where she was a fixture in the neighborhood for 60+ years.

Elba was the loving mother to Eridania Reyes and Elina Siegel; dearest grandmother to David Herrera, Alan Herrera and Eric Siegel, and also survived by 5 wonderful great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 31st from 4:00 - 9:00 P.M. at Muzyka Funeral Home, 2157 W. Chicago Ave., Chicago, IL 60622.  Guests are required to wear face coverings while in the chapel.  Funeral will be on Tuesday, September 1st.  Our doors will open at 8:30 A.M. and we will start with Prayers at 9:30 A.M. and then proceed to Holy Rosary Catholic Church for a 10:00 A.M. Funeral Mass.  Graveside Interment will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, 3100 N. Thatcher Avenue in River Grove, IL
