Gloria Malina passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023.  She was 86.  Beloved wife of the late Emil.  Cherished daughter of the late Andrew & Mary Belan.   Dearest sister of Verona VanderVen and preceded in death by David Belan, Andrew Belan, Steve Belan, Ruth Wallenberg Marquard and Bess Cerney.   Loving aunt of Scott ( Sherry ) Wallenberg, David ( Julie ) Belan, Greg VanderVen, Linda Wallenberg, Lori ( Dale ) Bracher, Denise ( Perry ) Casalino, Ruth ( Larry ) Shafer, Diana Arends, Robin VanderVen, and preceded in death by Christine Wallenberg and Doug Cerney.   Visitation for Gloria will be held on Friday, August 11'th from 3 - 7 P.M. at chapel.   On Saturday, August 12'th, everyone will meet for a  10:30 A.M. graveside committal at St. Luke Cemetery ( 5300 N. Pulaski Road; Chicago, 60630 ).    Gloria was a longtime member of Zion Lutheran Church in Norridge and will be missed by the congregation.  Besides her faith, she also enjoyed art and painting, music, reading books, and especially traveling with Emil.      In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Sokol Community Center ( 4855 N. Elston Ave.,  Chicago, IL  60630 ).
