It is with a very heavy heart that we inform the Ukrainian community of the sudden, tragic passing of Presbytera Halyna Hudzan  on Friday the 24'th of January, 2025.  She is survived by her beloved husband, Fr. Volodymyr Hudzan.  Dearest mother of Marta ( Roman ) Kindrat and Andrew Hudzan. Devoted grandmother of Volodymyr, Roman, Jr. and Emilia Kindrat.   Mrs. Hudzan was a valued, dedicated employee of SelfReliance / Ukrainian Village location.   Mrs. Hudzan will Lie-In-State at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral on N. Oakley Blvd.  at W. Rice St. on Friday, January 31'st from 4-9 P.M. with a Parastas at 7 P.M.   Divine Liturgy on Saturday, February 1'st at 10:00 A.M.  in Cathedral.  Interment at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery.       In lieu of flowers, donations may be made payable to Disabled Veterans Of America  or  to your charity of choice specifically to aid the wounded soldiers in Ukraine.
