Helene "Halyna" was born March 21, 1927 in Volyn, Ukraine to parents Emelia and Alexander Kornijtschuk.
At age 94, she passed away on March 11, 2022, 10 days before her 95th birthday.
She arrived in the United States of America in May, 1953.
With Helene's "Halyna" youthful spirit and positive outlook on life, she and deceased husband Dmytro Hajduk owned and successfully operated The Royal Motel in Wisconsin Dells, WI until their retirement.
Together they were active members and supporters of their church, numerous Ukrainian organizations, always ready and willing to offer a generous helping hand to worthy causes and to those in need.
Helene "Halyna" is survived by her son George "Yurko" (Mary "Marusia") Stefaniuk; her brother Nicholas Kornijtschuk; and she leaves many cousins, nieces and nephews in Ukraine and USA.
She was kind hearted and a cherished friend to many.

Visitation will be Saturday 9:00 - 10:30 A.M. at Muzyka Funeral Home, 2157 W. Chicago Ave., Chicago, IL 60622.
Funeral Saturday, 10:30 A.M. Panachyda from Muzyka Chapel to Sts. Volodymyr & Olha Ukrainian Catholic Church for an 11:00 A.M. Funeral Service.
Interment will be held at St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery in Bloomingdale, IL.
