Loving son of the late Wasyl and Kalyna ( nee Krawchuk ).

Dearest brother of Anna ( the late Roman ) Melnyk, Nadia ( Brad ) Kandl, the late Bohdan ( Natalie ) Derkacz, the late Mychajlo Derkacz, the late Natalia ( the late Bohdan ) Bilous, the late Roman Derkacz, the late Maria ( the late Jerry ) Kulas.

Dear brother-in-law of Frieda ( the late Nick ) Gluschenko.

Fond uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews.

John was a dedicated parishioner of his Church and a prominent figure in the Ukrainian community.  He also was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force.

Funeral Monday, 10:00 A.M. from Muzyka Funeral Home, 2157 W. Chicago Avenue to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral for a 10:30 A.M. Funeral Service.

Interment St. Nicholas Cemetery.

Visitation Sunday, 4 - 7 P.M. with a Parastas ( wake service ) 5 P.M. at chapel.
