Born on March 29th 1969, James Frederick Engelking's light spread across the world Wednesday, January 24th, 2024.  He is survived by his best friend & wife, Jeanette, his beautiful shining star T, brother Raymond (Christina), mother-in-law Rosa, brother Jeff (Heather) and the remaining Materson-Rusiecki-Engelking clan.  Preceded in death by his beautiful mother Ruth, father Fred, aunt Joan, father-in-law Waldemar Rusiecki, Mackie, Maverick, Leeloo, Kelly, and our Lillian "Muscles" Engelking.

James was an earth angel that believed everything could be expressed through musical notes.  He was a magic man who reinvented reality around him and loved on all planes of existence.  Jimmy was a spiritual man, loved our family (both blood and found), and guardian to all animals.  Papa Bear could make you laugh, angry, and cry all in one conversation.  Before passing on Jimmy forgave all who misunderstood him and only wishes for their reunion.

Jim wore many hats in his short life:  Eckerd Photo Lab manager, MetLife Snoopy blimp crew, Congo River Golf manager, SeaWorld Dolphin photographer, Terror on Church Street manager, traveled the world as an Omni Air crew member, Top 5% Uber driver in the nation, President of the Curly Hair Club and COO of Pintribute.  Business is good!

A Memorial Visitation / Celebration Of Life will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 between the hours of 2 - 6 P.M.  at Muzyka Funeral Home, 2157 W. Chicago Avenue ( at N. Leavitt Street ) in Chicago's Ukrainian Village neighborhood.
