Jerry Hupalo, age 100, passed away on Friday evening, December 15, 2023.  Beloved husband of the late Olga; Loving father of Anna (William)  Schwartz, Margie Hupalo, Oksana (David) Smolen and Lesya (George) Kercheval; Dearest grandfather of Thomas (Lisa), John (Erin), Christine (Scott), James, Nicholas and Alexander; Dear great-grandfather of Abigail, Tyler, Alysson, Shannon, Annaliese, Allena and Adelynn; and Cherished great-great-grandfather of River.  Jerry was a fond uncle to many nieces and nephews;  he leaves behind family in Siberia and Ukraine.  At his request, please omit flowers; any donations given to his family will be directed to orphanages in his native Ukraine.... a cause very dear to his heart.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 19 from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Chapel;  Parastas (Ukrainian Wake Service) will be at 6:30 P.M.

Funeral Wednesday, December 20 starting 10:00 A.M. at chapel with a Funeral Panachyda; then proceeding to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral for a 10:30 A.M. Funeral Service.

Interment will be graveside at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery; Chicago.

Mr. Hupalo was a longtime member of Knights Of Columbus, St. Nicholas Cathedral Holy Name Society and St. Nicholas Ukrainian Senior Citizens Group.
