John Maksymczuk passed away in his Palatine home July 11, 2022. He is survived by his beloved wife Paraskevia;  cherished daughter Daria ( John ) Phillipi  and  loving grandsons Michael and Nykola.   Dear uncle and friend of many.

John was preceded in death by his parents Mychajlo & Pavlina, cousin Vasyl Maksymczuk, in-laws Nykola & Anna Abramiuk and his brother-in-law Wasyl Abramiuk.

He was a noted and respected Philatelist.  John was a longtime member and supporter of CYM Ukrainian American Youth Association and Dyvyzijnyk .

In lieu of flowers, donations to the family will be used to help buy protective vests for the soldiers in Ukraine.

Visitation Friday from 3:30 until 8:00 P.M. at Muzyka Funeral Home on Chicago Avenue. Panachyda will be at 6:00 P.M.

Funeral Saturday  10:00 A.M. from Chapel to Sts. Volodymyr & Olha Ukrainian Catholic Church for a 10:30 A.M. funeral service.    Interment St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery.
