Katherine Borniak passed away on Monday, December 2'nd at her home; she was 98 years old.  Beloved wife of the late Michael.  Loving mother of Alexandra "Lesia" ( Oleh ) Kowerko  and  the late Roman ( the late Lydia ) Borniak.  Cherished grandmother of Patricia " Petrusia " ( Derek ) Raniszewski,  Mark ( Teresa Sosenko ) Borniak  and  Andrew Borniak.  Dearest great-grandmother of Helena Lydia Borniak.   Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 8'th from 3:00 - 7:00 P.M.  with a Panachyda ( Ukrainian Wake Service ) 5:00 P.M. at chapel.  Funeral will be held on Monday, December 9'th  starting with Panachyda at 10:30 A.M. and proceeding to Sts. Volodymyr & Olha Ukrainian Catholic Church for a 11:00 A.M. Funeral Service.  Interment:  St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery; Chicago.
