Maria Brama passed away on Thursday morning August 14, 2025 at the age of 97.  Dearest daughter of the late Andrij & Ewdokia ( Serhijchuk ) Kiforuk.  Cherished sister of the late Olena ( Ivan ) Mykytejchuk.  Loving mother of Irene ( Stephen ) Bodnar, Christine Brama, Adriana Brama and Lesia ( Walt ) Zytniak.    Cherished grandmother of Arielle ( Liam ) Fox, Ryan Macaulay, Michelle Zytniak, Andrew Brama and Ryan Young.    Loving great-grandmother of Evie Zytniak and Avery Fox.    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Nicholas Cathedral School, 2200 W. Rice Street; Chicago, IL  60622  and/or Sts. Volodymyr & Olha Ukrainian Catholic Church,  739 N. Oakley Boulevard; Chicago, IL  60612  .

Maria was the previous Owner/Operator of Delta Ukrainian Imports on W. Chicago Ave. in Chicago's Ukrainian Village neighborhood for 37 years.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 19th from 4-8 P.M. with a Parastas ( Ukrainian Prayer Service ) 7 P.M. at chapel.   Funeral Wednesday, 10:30 A.M. from chapel to Sts. Volodymyr & Olha Ukrainian Catholic Church for a 11:00 A.M. Funeral Service.   Interment St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery.
