Maria Iwankiw, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on February 27, 2021, at the age of 94.

She was born on Sept. 18, 1926, in Vynnyky, Ukraine.

Maria is survived by her son Nestor Iwankiw, with wife Larissa, and daughter Nadiya Iwankiw Archie, with husband Jay.

She was the beloved grandmother of Vera and Zenon Iwankiw, and Adriana and Alex Archie.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Ewhen, her parents Volodymyr and Stefania Bedrylo, and her sisters Iwanna Chrunyk and Halya Haruch.

She will be fondly remembered by her family, and anyone who knew her, as a loving, smiling, selfless, and deeply religious person.

Her beautiful voice was often heard at liturgies, singing either from the pews or in the choir loft as a long standing member of the choir "Prometey".

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sts. Volodymyr & Olha Ukrainian Catholic Church and/or the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv.

Funeral Saturday (March 6th) 11:00am from Muzyka chapel to Sts. Volodymyr and Olha Ukrainian Catholic Church for an 11:30am Funeral Service.
