Michael J. Bachta, age 76, born on March 4, 1948, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024.  Michael is survived by his beloved wife Bernice V. Bachta ( nee Kielbasa ) and loving father to Mark J. Bachta.  Dearest brother of Paul R. ( June ) Bachta.  Dear uncle of many wonderful nieces and nephews.  Michael was preceded in death by his cherished parents Marion and Evelyn Bachta, aunt Florence Blazek, uncle and aunt Richard and Elaine Blazek.

Michael enjoyed going to Minor League ball games and made many friends at these games.  He also enjoyed watching college football on television.

Visitation will be held at Muzyka Funeral Home, 2157 W. Chicago Avenue ( at N. Leavitt Street ); Chicago, 60622  on Friday, December 27'th from 3:00 - 8:00 P.M.  Prayer service at 5:00 P.M.        On Saturday, December 28'th, everyone will meet at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church,  1429 W. Wellington Ave. where Michael's body will Lie In State at 9:15 A.M. with the Funeral Mass starting at 10:00 A.M.     Interment:  St. Adalbert Cemetery.           Info:  773-278-7767.
