A Memorial Visitation / Celebration Of Life will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 from 5:00 - 9:00 P.M. for  Miguel "The Angel" Fajardo  here at Muzyka Funeral Home on W. Chicago Avenue.

On Saturday, February 14, a Funeral Mass will be held at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, 1351 W. Evergreen Avenue,; Chicago, 60642 at 5:00 P.M.

On Sunday, February 15, a Celebration Of Life gathering, for family & friends, from 2:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the home of Luis Fajardo:                      1102 Pember Circle;  West Dundee, IL 60118   ( 773 ) 474-1413 .

Final Issue.  Last Stand.

In the final pages of a long, impossible run, the hero fell -- but not the story.

Born in the margins of a broken world, "Angel" rose between splash pages and sirens, fists clenched against hate itself.  He fought monsters in the streets, gods in the sky, and doubt in his own head.  Issue after issue, the odds were unfair.  Issue after issue, he won anyway.

His costume was torn more times than it was replaced.  His body bruised, burned, and broken.  But the symbol on his chest?  Never cracked.

When the last battle came, it came loud -- explosions, shattered glass, a sky split by lightning and bad decisions. And when everyone else was down ... Miguel "The Angel" was still standing.  Still swinging.  Still saying, "Not today." .

The final panel shows him smiling -- bloodied, exhausted, unbowed -- holding the line so the world could turn one more page.

He didn't die.          He became a legend.

Now the city keeps his name in whispered prayers and graffiti on brick walls, anyway.  Somewhere, in a panel we haven't seen yet, the Angel is still watching.
