Olena Voronka passed away on Friday, October 23, 2026, in Chicago, after a short but courageous battle with cancer.  She was 57 years old.

Olena was the devoted mother of Alexander (Inna) Voronka, cherished grandmother of Dariia "Dasha" and Alex; dear sister of Grygori (Yana) Fedoriak and Viktoria Fedoreac; dear aunt of Mariana, Sergii, Dmytro, and Anna.  Survived by family and friends near and far.

Olena was an active member of St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral in Chicago.

Visitation will be held at Muzyka Funeral Home, 2157 W. Chicago Avenue in Chicago's Ukrainian Village on Thursday, October 29, 2026 from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. with a Parastas ( Ukrainian Prayer Service ) at 7:00 P.M.

Funeral will be held at St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, 2238 W. Cortez Street ( at N. Oakley Boulevard ) on Friday, October 30, 2026 at 10:00 A.M.  Following the funeral service, a procession will depart for Elmwood Cemetery in River Grove, IL for a graveside committal service.
