Orest A. Hrynewych, age 81, passed away at home on Wednesday, November 29, 2023  .  Beloved husband of Ulana ( nee Gula ); Loving father of Tunia U. ( Dr. Mark ) Stefaniuk,  Dr. Alex M.( Amy ) Hrynewych,  and the late Adrian S. "Dzik" Hrynewych.   Cherished grandfather of Roman, Sophia, " D ", Yarema, Renata, Melanya, Max & Gabe.    Fond brother of Bohdan Hrynewych and the late George Hrynewych.   Orest is survived by many friends, neighbors and former colleagues.   His Memory is Eternal.      A Memorial Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 21st, 11:00 A.M.  AT  St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, 835 N. Oakley Boulevard ( at W. Rice Street); Chicago, 60622 .    In lieu of flowers, donations will be applied to the St. Nicholas Cathedral Renovation Fund, and may be mailed to the Cathedral offices at 2245 W. Rice Street; Chicago, 60622  ( please be sure to mention Orest's name on the memo portion of your check ).
