Orysia T. Cardoso passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on the afternoon of Saturday, August 29, 2026.  Orysia was a vibrant 81-years of age.  

Beloved mother of Alexandra ( Dr. John Lew ) Cardoso;  Cherished grandmother of Mela Lew and John Lew; Loving sister of Tanya ( Jim ) Barkas  and  James Barkas;  Dearest aunt to Vera ( Robert ) Newhouse and Dear aunt of Jacob & Andrew Newhouse.

Orysia was a respected Pharmacist who lived for helping others;  she will be missed by many!

A Memorial Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026  at  10:30 A.M.  inside Sts. Volodymyr & Olha Ukrainian Catholic Church,  located at 2245 W. Superior Street ( at N. Oakley Boulevard ); Chicago, 60612 .  Please Omit Flowers.
