Paterno Matillano Pactanac, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2023 , at the age of 88.  He was the third of ten children.  He is survived by his wife of 57 years Marcela;  daughter Pamela ( Mel ), son Prostan ( May Ann ), daughter Perla ( Cyrus ), son Pierre ( Margo );  nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by his oldest son, Noel " Boboy " Pactanac ( Shirly ).     Wake will be held at:  Muzyka Funeral Home,  2157 W. Chicago Ave., Chicago,IL 60622 on Wednesday, June 14th from 3:00 - 8:00 P.M. with a prayer service around 6:00 P.M.   Funeral Mass will be held at:  St. Helen Catholic Church,  2315 W. Augusta Blvd., Chicago, IL  60622 on Thursday, June 15'th at 10:00 A.M.   Interment at Maryhill  Catholic Cemetery, Niles .
