Peter Wlasenko passed away on Tuesday, October 17'th; he was 89 years old.  Beloved husband of Diane; Loving father of Kathryn Kuhn and Carolynn (Michael) Croke;  Devoted grandfather of Jonathon Kuhn, Allison Kuhn, Garrett Croke and Delaney Croke; Dear brother of Veronica Bodnar of Florida.  Peter was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a proud member of the Ukrainian American Veterans Post 32.

Visitation will be held at Muzyka Funeral Home,  2157 W. Chicago Avenue ( at  N.Leavitt Street ; Chicago, 60622 ) on Saturday, October 21'st from 9:00 A.M. until 10:30 A.M.  Funeral Panachyda will follow at 10:30 A.M. with a procession to Sts. Volodymyr & Olha Ukrainian Catholic Church for a 11:00 A.M. Funeral Service.

Interment: St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Chicago,IL.

Peter was born to Tekla and Nikolas Wlasenko in Ukraine in 1934.  He emigrated to the USA in 1949 with his family.  He was a skilled union carpenter and he enjoyed working with his hands.  He crafted items for his family and friends.  Pete and Diane, having raised 2 amazing daughters and teaching life lessons to their 4 young grandchildren, celebrated their 63'rd wedding anniversary on September 24'th of this year, a little over 3-weeks before his peaceful passing.  May Peter's Memory Be Eternal !
