Dr. Roman J. Daczkewycz passed away in the early evening hours of Saturday, May 23rd with his wife by his side;  4-days after his 84th birthday.  Beloved husband of Janice M. ( nee Gooley ); Devoted friend and colleague of many.  Dr. Daczkewycz was a highly respected orthopedic surgeon.  

Visitation will be held at Muzyka Funeral Home, in Chicago's Ukrainian Village neighborhood on Friday May 29, 2026 from 4-8 P.M. with a Panachyda ( Ukrainian Wake Service ) at 6 P.M.   Funeral will be held on Saturday May 30, 2026 at the Chapel starting with Prayers at 11:00 A.M. and proceeding to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral for a 11:30 A.M. Funeral Service.  Procession to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery for a graveside committal service.
