Sofia Mykytiuk passed away at her home on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at the age of 100 surrounded by loved ones.

Sofia was the beloved wife of the late Ihor; loving mother of Larysa, Andrew (Kathleen) and the late Borys; cherished grandmother of Sofia (Ross) Wheeler and Jack (Courtney) Mykytiuk and dearest great-grandmother of James & Allison Mykytiuk.  Dear relative of many in Ukraine.

A Memorial Service will be held at Sts. Volodymyr & Olha Ukrainian Catholic Church ( 2245 W. Superior Street at N. Oakley Boulevard;  Chicago, 60612 )  on  Saturday, May 3, 2025  ….. Visitation at 10:30 A.M. followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M.  Interment: Private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Sofia's name may be made to RAZOM in Ukraine.
