Stefan Drozd, age 68, passed away on Thursday, February 8th, with his wife of nearly 40 years at his side, after a courageous battle with cancer.  Preceded in death by his parents Iwan and Anna Drozd.  Beloved husband of Katrusia.  Dearest brother of Myroslawa-Myra (Roman) Berko and Taras (Mariyka).  Cherished uncle of Dan (Libby) Berko, Paul Berko, Phil (Sarah), Olena (Bohdan) Vasilik, Lesia (Mike) Kral and Christina (Matt) Maxon.....and their children.  Stefan is survived by many relatives and friends, both here in the U.S. and in Ukraine.  In particular he is fondly remembered by his many friends and colleagues in the Ukrainian community of Chicago, members of the American Ukrainian Youth Association  (CYM), the administration of the CYM "Beskyd" oselia in Wisconsin and his golfing buddies.  Eternal memory.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 17 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, 835 N. Oakley Boulevard ( at W. Rice Street ); Chicago, 60622.    Interment will be private.
