Stefania Szeremeta, age 99, passed away at home with her daughter by her side on Tuesday, May 6.  Cherished daughter of the late Mykyta and Anna Melnyk.  Beloved wife of the late Dr. Swiatoslaw Szeremeta.  Loving mother of Dr. Taisa Browar ( the late Dr. Andrew Browar ).  Dearest grandmother of the late Irena Browar. Dear sister of the late Aleksandra  ( the late Zenon ) Konowka.  Fond aunt of Roman ( Christine ) Konowka and their children Larysa Konowka and Aleksander ( Emelyn ) Konowka with their daughter Mia;  niece Irene Konowka , as well as the entire Melnyk family in Ukraine.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 9 from 3-8 P.M. with a Parastas ( Ukrainian Wake Service ) 7 P.M. at Chapel.  Funeral will be on Saturday, May 10 starting at Chapel with prayers at 10:30 A.M. followed by a procession to Sts. Volodymyr & Olha Ukrainian Catholic Church for a 11:00 A.M. Funeral Service.  Graveside interment at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery; Chicago.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to Sts. Volodymyr & Olha Ukrainian Catholic Church.    May Stefania's Memory Be Eternal !
