Terry Gawryk, age 72,  passed away peacefully after a long illness on Wednesday, March 4, 2026  .

Beloved husband and best friend of Irene Quirmbach.  Dearest brother of Fred ( Pamela Miller ) Gawryk,  the late Jaroslaw Gawryk and the late Helen Guzzo.   Fond uncle of Tanya, Nora, Matthew ( Margo O'Hara )  and the late Monique.   Dear cousin of many in Canada, Ukraine and the United States Of America.

Terry was a practicing Attorney up until the time of his passing.  In addition, Terry was on the Board Of Directors at the former  First Security Federal Savings Bank (Chicago);  currently on the Board Of Directors of The Heritage Foundation; and an active member of the American Ukrainian Youth Association.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations, in the memory of Terry Gawryk to:   Sts. Volodymyr & Olha Ukrainian Catholic Church;  Ukrainian Catholic University (Lviv, Ukraine);  or to a charity of your choice.

Visitation will be held at Muzyka Funeral Home in Ukrainian Village on Friday, March 13 from 4 - 8 P.M. with a Panachyda (Ukrainian Wake Service) at 6:30 P.M.       Funeral will follow on Saturday, March 14 at Chapel with a 10:30 A.M. Funeral Panachyda and a procession to Sts. Volodymyr & Olha Ukrainian Catholic Church for a 11:00 Funeral Service.    Interment: private.
