Theodore Takoy, age 97, passed away June 27, 2022.

Beloved husband of the late Julia.

Loving father of Lidia (George) Matwyshyn, Wally (Mary) & Paul (Janet).

Cherished grandfather of Marta (Erick), Paul (Melissa), Matthew (Fiance Angelica), Thomas (Ashley) & Suzanne (Jeff).

Great grand father of Julian, Andrew, Markian, Mathilda, Sofia, Dominic, Carter, Millie & Asher.

Dear Godfather to Maria Melnyk.

Theodore leaves family in Ukraine and in New Hampshire John & Nadia Mandzy with family.

He was also a life long active member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, member of the Slavuta choir, Holy Name Society and head of the Senior Citizens Club.

Visitation: Thursday, June 30th 4-8 P.M. at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral (Oakley Blvd & Rice St.)

Parastas (Prayer Service): Thursday, June 30th at 7:00 P.M.

Funeral: Friday. July 1, 2022 10:00 A.M. at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral

Interment: St. Nichola Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Chicago, IL
