Ulana Hrynewych, age 80, passed away after a long illness in her home on Tuesday, January 30'th surrounded by her family.  Beloved wife of the late Orest A. ( who passed away after a long illness on November 29, 2023 ).  Loving mother of Tunia U. ( Dr. Mark Stefaniuk),  Dr. Alex M. ( Amy ) Hrynewych  and the late Adrian S. "Dzik" Hrynewych.  Cherished grandmother of Roman, Sophia, "D", Yarema, Renata, Melanya, Max and Gabe. Dearest sister of the late John Gula.  Dear neighbor and friend of many.  Ulana was retired from Selfreliance Ukrainian Federal Credit Union serving in many positions over many years. Visitation will be held at Muzyka Funeral Home (Chicago Ave.) on Thursday, February 8th from 4 - 8 P.M. with a Panachyda ( Ukrainian Wake Service ) at 6 P.M. at Chapel.   Funeral will be held on Friday, February 9th with everyone meeting, 10 A.M.,  AT  St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, 835 N. Oakley Blvd. ( at Rice St. ); Chicago, 60622 .
