Walter S. Hewak, age 77, passed away Monday, August 31, 2026.   Beloved son of the late John & Olga.  Dear father of Walter, Jr.  Loving brother of Roman ( MaryAnn ), Evelyn ( Andre ) Roman and the late Tadeusz " Teddy " .  Cherished uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend of many too numerous to mention.

On Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. there will be a Graveside Commital of his urn at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, 8851 W. Higgins Road; Chicago, 60631.

Walter was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps who served in the Viet Nam war.
